Live Review: Gary Numan performing 'The Pleasure Principle' For Groove Magazine



Tonight’s centrepiece, the 1979 masterpiece 'The Pleasure Principle' is celebrating its 30th anniversary and has been a landmark record for electronic music since its release. It has been sampled by The Chemical Brothers, it has spawned covers from Nine Inch Nails and has influenced just about everyone who has ever played a synth. With its cover featuring Numan staring at a red miniature pyramid being projected on a huge video screen, Gary Numan takes to the stage to a deafening applause.
